The BCCI announced on Sunday that Navdeep Saini, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Jaydev Unadkat, and Saurabh Kumar have been added to the Indian Test squad for the Bangladesh series (December 11). Mohammed Shami and Ravindra Jadeja were officially ruled out from the Bangladesh Test series.
Regular captain Rohit Sharma met with a specialist in Mumbai and was given the go-ahead to take it easy after suffering an injury during the second ODI and being a questionable starter for the Test series. As a result, he won’t be able to play in the first Test, which is why Easwaran has been called up. The uncapped starter recently defeated Bangladesh A in two games, both of which he scored centuries.
