In the three T-20I match series being played between India and Sri Lanka, India has taken an unbeatable lead in the series by defeating Sri Lanka in the second T-20I by 7 wickets. Shreyas Iyer, Sanju Samson, and Ravindra Jadeja’s brilliant innings helped India chase down the target of 184 runs in 17.1 overs and register an easy win in the second T-20I between India and Sri Lanka at the Dharamsala ground.
This match between India and Sri Lanka was played at the ground of Dharamsala where the weather remained very cold in the evening. There were a few showers as well before the match on Dharamshala ground, due to which the temperature also dropped significantly. Rohit Sharma could not do much with his bat in this match, but during India’s run chase, he was spotted enjoying a cup of coffee in the dressing room and was also seen offering coffee in a funny way to the cameraman. India did not face much trouble in this run chase due to Shreyas Iyer’s 74 and Ravindra Jadeja’s cracking 45 runs off 18 balls in the end.
For Sri Lanka, Pathum Nissanka played a brilliant inning of 75 runs in 53 balls and took his team to a strong score of 183 runs but due to the poor bowling of Sri Lanka, the Indian team easily reached this target.
The third and final T-20 match between India and Sri Lanka is to be played on Sunday at 7 pm at the Dharamsala ground. In the third T20 match, some changes can be seen in the Indian team and the team can give chances to talented players like Kuldeep Yadav and Avesh Khan. Even in batting, Deepak Hooda has not played a single ball in this entire series so far and his batting order can also be changed.
