The IPL mega auction is less than 10 days away from getting underway. The auction will get underway on 12th and 13th February in Bengaluru.
Franchises will be looking at the recent statistics and improved players in the preparation for the IPL mega auction and prepare for the bidding war after seeing their credentials. Many talented players have decided to register themselves for the IPL mega auction. One of the players to watch out for is the ex Delhi Capitals skipper Shreyas Iyer who was released by the franchise ahead of the IPL mega auction 2022.
Since Delhi Capitals released Shreyas Iyer many teams will be targeting him in the upcoming auction. Earlier there were links of KKR being linked to buying the Mumbai-based player in the auction.

Shreyas Iyer is someone who can lead a team and be a good role model for the team and also can contribute with his bat which is a plus point for the franchise he gets the chance to play for in the next IPL edition. He led his Delhi Capital side in the 2019 IPL edition to the playoffs and the finals in the 2020 season.
Shreyas Iyer won the hearts for his captaincy skills and his batting performances. He has played 87 games in the IPL and scored 2375 runs at an average of 31.67 which includes 16 half-centuries.
