India’s T20 Squad was announced on 12th September consisting majority of players included in the Aisa Cup 2022, with Indian pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel making a comeback in the team. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma mentioned in a recent interview that the team is very much clear with the thought of KL Rahul and has zero scepticism regarding the same.
“KL Rahul is a very important player of the Indian Team. For us, I just want to make it clear that we are very clear with our thought processes. We are very clear about what KL Rahul contributes to the team. He is a very quality player who is significantly important for the team. His presence at the top is massively crucial for us” said The Hitman.
However, a TV anchor turned the entire scenario into a tale of jokes when he, unfortunately, spelt Rahul Gandhi as the Indian opener instead of KL Rahul. The anchor mentioned that Rahul Gandhi will be opening along with Rohit Sharma in the T20 World Cup. This turned out to be a super hilarious moment and the video soon went viral.
