Shahid Afridi, Pakistan’s all-rounder is not pleased with the International Cricket Council (ICC) regulations that bars umpire from taking the caps from the players during a match due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
On Tuesday night, Afridi who is playing for Multan Sultans in the ongoing Pakistan Super League when during their match Peshawar Zalmi (umpire) refused to take his cap when he came on to bowl.
Afridi tweeted on Wednesday, “Dear ICC wondering why the umpires are not allowed to hold the bowler’s cap even though they are in the same bubble as the players and management and even shake hands at the end of the match?”

In PSL some other players also seemed surprise over ICC rule which is being applied because of the pandemic.
