Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) officials, engaged in dialogues with Shaw, have signaled that the youthful batsman is improbable to appear in the dual white-ball competitions, namely Syed Mushtaq Ali and Vijay Hazare. The MCA envisions a rehabilitation duration of roughly two to three months, aiming to position him for potential fitness in time for the Ranji Trophy, which is set to commence on January 5. A representative from the MCA conveyed, “Based on our discussions, it is anticipated that a complete recovery will necessitate a span of two to three months. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is supervising Shaw’s treatment regimen, and preparations are in place for him to consult with a specialist in London for an exhaustive assessment.
