Pakistani pacer Naseem Shah is questionable for the remaining England series of T20I format after being hospitalised with pneumonia. “The decision on Naseem Shah’s further participation in the [England] series will be taken after reviewing his medical reports,” the PCB said in a statement.
Following the end of the series in England on October 2, Pakistan will depart the following day for New Zealand to participate in a triangular T20I tournament that will also feature Bangladesh and run from October 7 to 14. After that, they depart for Australia in preparation for the World Cup, where they will face India on October 23 in Melbourne.
