Brendon McCullum, the head coach of England, has warned Pakistan that his team will attack at all costs during the next Test series.
McCullum’s aggressive approach has been very effective at home since he was appointed as coach earlier this year, but it will be put to the test again when England travels to Pakistan for a three-match Test series that starts on Thursday.
The series is a significant component of the current World Test Championship, and Pakistan in particular is still in the running to make the final at The Oval next year.
“We’ll be pushing for results but we want to play entertaining cricket,” McCullum told BBC Sport.
“There may be a time where you risk losing to win and if Pakistan are good enough to beat us, that’s cool too.”
