Kiwi leg spinner Ish Sodhi has been added to New Zealand’s Test squad for their upcoming tour of Pakistan, where they will play two Test matches and three ODIs. In November 2018, Sodhi made his last appearance in the longest format. The Kiwis preferred Sodhi for the shortest format of the sport – T20 where the leg spinner has recently bagged in the elite record of 100-wickets club.
In a series where Tim Southee will replace Williamson as captain, he returns with a chance to revive his Test career.
