Moeen Ali, the England all-rounder after bidding adieu to test cricket in 2021 returned back after 2 years for the Ashes 2023. The all-rounder was approached by England’s team management for returning to the test team for Ashes 2023 in place of Jack Leach who suffered an injury and was not able to join the squad for the Ashes 2023. In the first innings the English all-rounder scored 18 runs with the bat and on the second day of the match, the all-rounder swipes two important wickets of Travis Head and Cameron Green and ended his 650-day wait for his test wicket.

On the third day, it looks like he is having a hard time as the all-rounder was seen going off the field for a checkup of his fingers after bowling the 102nd over of the match. We hope that it is not a major injury for him as well as his team.
