Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to introduce a seven-seater MPV in India on July 5th. The upcoming vehicle will be based on the popular Toyota Innova Hycross model.

As the launch date approaches, Maruti Suzuki has released an official teaser of the MPV, offering a glimpse of its silhouette. The car is expected to showcase a refreshed front fascia, stylish alloy wheels, and an updated rear profile. Additionally, a new grille design is anticipated for the front of the vehicle.

The forthcoming Maruti Suzuki MPV will be a seven-seater, and it is speculated that it may offer optional captain seats in the middle row, enhancing passenger comfort and flexibility.

Reports suggest that the Maruti Suzuki MPV will be equipped with a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine capable of delivering a maximum power output of 174PS and a peak torque of 205Nm. Another variant is expected to feature a 2.0-litre petrol engine combined with a self-charging electric motor, creating a hybrid powertrain. The hybrid model is rumored to provide a mileage of approximately 21.1kmpl.

Maruti Suzuki plans to sell the MPV through its premium Nexa dealership network, positioning it as one of the company’s high-end offerings. Industry insiders estimate that the price of the MPV could range between ₹18.55 lakh and ₹29.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki has announced attractive discounts on its lineup of models for the month of June.
