
Indian pace star Shardul Thakur received a warm welcome after coming back home. He played a key role in India’s success Down Under. The Mumbai lad said in a tweet that the last few days have been “surreal”.
Thakur was the highest scorer for India in the first innings of the fourth Test. He scored 67 and cemented a brilliant partnership with Washington Sundar.
On Wednesday he took his Twitter handle to thank the supporters. He said, “Last few days since I came back home were surreal, thank you for so many blessings and love shown by you people. Now back with our squad in Chennai for next series.”

Indian side led by Ajinkya Rahane defeated the hosts at Gabba where they were unconquered for 32 years clinched the series 2-1.
