Ishant Sharma the vital cog for India’s pace attack in the Test format has been honored with Arjuna Award alongside his Indian Team mate Rohit Sharma who has been honored with the Rajiv Ganhi Khel Ratna the highest Sporting award.
BCCI also congratulated the players on the twitter for the achievements on being conferred with the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award and Arjuna award.

Along with Ishant Sharma the Deepti Sharma from women’s cricket team was also awarded with the Arjuna Award, Ishant Sharma has racked up 71 wickets in 18 Tests for Team India with an average of 19.14 since the start of 2018, recently Ishant has expressed his dream to win the ODI World Cup with India.
