MS Dhoni is a man of the masses, he is loved by one and all. The former Indian captain announced his retirement from international cricket last month but his fans are glad to see him back on the field playing the IPL. Dhoni played competitive cricket after more than a year on 19th September when the IPL opener was played against Mumbai Indians.

In the second match of their campaign, Chennai Super Kings saw Rajasthan Royals who played their first match. Right after the toss, MS Dhoni was seen talking to the players of the other camp and one scene on the television left the viewers awestruck. Yashasvi Jaiswal, a youngster representing the Royals greeted the former skipper with a humble gesture. He placed his palms together and did a “namaste” to Dhoni.

The young batsman made his IPL debut against the Super Kings. Rajasthan Royals is the youngest team in the league and gives lots of chances to the young blood. Jaiswal was picked up by the RR at a bid of Rs 2.2 crore which is one of the highest bids for an uncapped player in the IPL. The RR and CSK match saw a record making total of 33 sixes combined which is the highest for an IPL match. Sanju Samson and Faf du Plesis were the players from the two camp who hit the maximum sixes. Rajasthan Royals won the match by 16 runs.
