A heated exchange between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Nitish Rana and Mumbai Indians (MI) bowler Hrithik Shokeen during a recent IPL encounter between the two teams has gone viral.
The incident occurred in the ninth over of the match, when Rana charged down the track against Hrithik’s delivery but miscued it completely. The ball was caught by Ramandeep Singh in the deep, and Rana was dismissed for 5 off 10, leaving KKR three down.
As Rana was walking towards the KKR dugout, Hrithik had a go at him, and the KKR captain lost his temper and charged at the MI bowler. This led to a furious argument between the two players, before MI’s stand-in skipper Suryakumar Yadav rushed in to intervene and pulled Rana away.
