Sunrisers Hyderabad go into IPL 2026 with a pace-bowling unit built around leadership, experience and tactical variation. While the squad’s batting depth attracts much of the attention, SRH’s fast bowlers will be central to their push for a top-four finish this season.

Pat Cummins continues to be the spearhead of SRH’s pace attack. The Australian captain brings control, aggression and big-match experience. His ability to strike with the new ball and deliver crucial spells under pressure makes him SRH’s most important fast-bowling asset.

Harshal Patel remains a key component in the middle and death overs. Known for his slower balls and clever variations, Harshal has consistently picked up wickets in the latter stages of innings. His experience of bowling in high-pressure situations adds balance to SRH’s attack.

Jaydev Unadkat offers reliability and consistency. After a strong IPL 2025 season where he picked up 11 wickets in seven games, Unadkat is expected to play a major role, particularly on slower pitches where his cutters are effective.

Brydon Carse provides an aggressive pace option and is likely to be used as an Impact Player. His ability to hit the deck hard and generate bounce gives SRH a wicket-taking option, especially with the new ball.

Eshan Malinga adds youthful pace depth to the squad. While still developing, he offers SRH additional fast-bowling options across a long and demanding tournament.

With Cummins leading the attack and experienced support from Harshal Patel and Jaydev Unadkat, Sunrisers Hyderabad head into IPL 2026 with a pace unit capable of delivering disciplined and match-winning spells.
