IPL on their official Twitter handle announces the timings of its mega auction from 11 am onwards on February 12 & 13.

This season, two new franchises, Ahmedabad and Lucknow have been added along with the other 8 franchises for the 15th edition of the IPL. Both the franchises have confirmed their three draft picks for the upcoming mega auction.
Lucknow booked Indian vice-captain, KL Rahul, Australian All-rounder, Marcus Stoinis, and Leg spinner, Ravi Bishnoi. KL Rahul will lead the Lucknow Franchise.
Whereas, Ahmedabad has picked Indian All-rounder, Hardik Pandya as their captain, Afghanistan’s right-arm leg break, Rashid Khan, and Indian batsman, Shubman Gill.
While Rahul will be paid a whopping amount of Rs 17 cr, Pandya will draw a sum of Rs 15 cr. A sum of 590 players has been shortlisted for the mega auction. Uncapped cricketers are 355 whereas capped are 228.
R. Ashwin, David Warner, Pat Cummins, Shreyas Iyer, Shikhar Dhawan, Trent Boult, Mohammed Shami, Quinton De Kock, Kagiso Rabada, and Faf du Plessis are among such marquee names to go under the hammer in the mega auction this year.
