The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 auctions will take place in Kochi on December 23. The top players from domestic cricket in India and around the world are expected to compete in this spectacular spectacle for a spot in the world’s richest cricket league. Given their precise needs and, of course, financial constraints, the ten IPL franchises will compete for the top batter, bowler, and all-rounder.
The teams are expected to decide the futures of 405 players, including 273 Indians and the remaining 132 players, including four from associate countries. The ten franchises have a total of 87 open slots, 30 of which will be filled by foreign players.
Given that some franchises must fill squad gaps with a very competitive level of purse balance, these key players will be auctioned off with a base price of 2 crore, the highest base price for the Indian Premier League 2023.
