Yuzvendra Chahal has dismissed Quinton De Kock and Sanju Samson the most times, with Quinton being knocked six times in 8 innings and Sanju being removed five times in 10 innings.

He began his time with RCB by appearing in all 14 league games. Chahal was nominated for the Emerging Player of the Year award, which he lost to Axar Patel despite only taking 12 wickets. Chahal developed as a player over the next two seasons, taking 44 wickets and became one of RCB’s most important cogs. He passed Vinay Kumar to become the Bangalore franchise’s best wicket-taker in the 2018 tournament.

Yuzvendra Chahal has become the sixth bowler in IPL history to capture 150 wickets, and the second fastest behind Lasith Malinga to reach the milestone. He’s also only the fourth spinner in IPL history to reach 150 wickets.

RR has ensured that they stay front of the pack in terms of spin bowling by signing Chahal, Team India’s key wrist spinner in limited overs games. Chahal came to popularity after taking 34 wickets in the National Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy in 2009, finishing as the tournament’s top wicket-taker.

Chahal was a match-winner on his day, but he was not retained by the RCB, and so he was auctioned off to RR for INR 6.50 crore.
