Vijay Shankar of the Gujarat Titans has once again been the target of criticism for the netizens and teasing after failing to perform during the match against Chennai Super Kings on Sunday at MCA stadium, Pune.
Vijay was dismissed for no runs in two balls by Maheesh Theekshana, and he returned to the pavilion quickly.
However, this isn’t the first time he’s been thrashed handily in the Indian Premier League’s 2022 season. He was dismissed abruptly for the fourth time. After scoring just four runs, he was bowled out by Dushmantha Chameera in GT’s first match. He scored 13 runs in the following GT match before being bowled by Kuldeep Yadav.
Following his poor performances, he was left out of the playing XI for the next two games. GT had trust in him again, and he was enlisted in the continuing game, but he failed to convince once again.
