Umran Malik, the emerging star of J&K, bowled the fastest ball, 153.3 kph, in IPL history while playing against Gujarat Titans.

Last year, he wowed everyone by frequently hitting speeds of above 150 kph. Umran Malik also holds the record for bowling the fastest ball ever bowled by an Indian bowler in the IPL. Umran hit 152.95 and 152.05 kmph during the IPL , Umran maintained a constant speed of 150 km/h.

Umran, who has wowed cricket fans with his speed and raw skill, maintained his upward trajectory by delivering the fastest ball in tournament history.

Earlier, SunRisers Hyderabad skipper Kane Williamson won the toss and opted to field first. T Natarajan and Umran Malik sent Sai Sudharsan and Matthew Wade back to the pavilion, respectively, as Gujarat Titans lost three wickets in the opening eight overs.
