On Friday, SRH defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by eight wickets in their opening game of the season. Abhishek Sharma, the opener, was in fine form against CSK, hitting 75 runs off 50 balls in his side’s 155-run chase. Sharma smashed five fours and three sixes to help SRH reach 155 for two in 17.4 overs.
Gujarat Titans won their previous match against Punjab Kings. Batting first, PBKS put up a total of 189-9. Liam Livingstone scored 64 runs, with Shikhar Dhawan contributing 35. Rabhul Chahar, the tailender, too scored 22 runs at the finish.
In the meantime, Washington Sundar and T Natarajan were in excellent form, each taking two wickets as CSK reached 154 for seven in 20 overs.
