David Warner has received a lot of appreciation on Twitter after slamming 92 runs in 58 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad, his former franchise who dropped him as captain and player last season and are now being roasted for it.

In the 50th game of the IPL 2022, former SunRisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner hit a spectacular 58-ball 92 against his former team. Warner scored his 89th half century in T20 cricket after being removed as captain and player at SRH for the 2021 season.

The Australian left-hander has been in excellent form for the Delhi Capitals this campaign, and has also been their most reliable batting performer.

From the first ball, Warner appeared to be in challenging form, blasting Sean Abbott for a boundary through the covers. Umran Malik’s first over of the game, with him in the field, yielded 21 runs, as SRH used him on the powerplay due to the unavailability of Washington Sundar and T Natarajan.
