Shivam Dube ranks second on the orange cap tally with a total of 207 runs, just behind Jos Butler. He is also the highest run-scorer for Chennai Super Kings this season. Shivam Dube has played for Mumbai Indians (2016-18), Royal Challengers Bangalore (2019-20), and Rajasthan Royals (2021) previously. He was bought by CSK in the IPL mega-auction this year for INR 4 crore. Shivam has played five matches so far this season and scored 207 runs for his team with an average of 51.75 and a terrific strike rate of 176.92. He has also scored two fifties this season, one of them coming today in a crucial match against RCB. With 13 sixes and 16 fours this season, Dube is seen in his best form.

In IPL 2021, Shivam, while playing for Rajasthan Royals, scored 230 runs in 11 matches, which is his individual best IPL season yet. He would look forward to breaking the barriers and continuing his form this year to help CSK reach the play-offs. Considering his form this season, if Shivam plays consistently, he can easily score more runs this season than the last four seasons combined.
