Shikhar Dhawan of Punjab Kings and Virat Kohli of Royal Challengers Bangalore are battling it out for the most boundaries hit in the Indian Premier League, with Dhawan leading with 802 fours and Virat with 766. Chris Gayle is in third spot with 762 total boundaries.

He also became the first batsman to hit 800 boundaries in the IPL’s history. With 802 boundaries, the batter is sitting pretty on top of the table. Virat Kohli, the former captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore, is second on the exclusive list with 768 boundaries. Dhawan reached these astounding feats in IPL just a few days after he became the first Indian batter to hit 1,000 boundaries in the T20 cricket.

Kohli topped the list of leading run scorers in 2016, earning the Orange Cap at the conclusion of the league’s ninth edition. He was the highest-paid cricketer in the IPL until 2022, and he was the first player to be retained by his team prior to the IPL 2018 Player Auction.

Dhawan, the fiery left-hander, will be key to PBKS’ chances, since he has a plethora of experience and a significant number of runs to his credit.
