Robin Uthappa and Moeen Ali are really taking on Lucknow Super Giants’ bowler as they had an amazing powerplay against them. CSK scored 73 runs in the first six overs and lost just a single wicket which was a mistake from opening batter Ruturaj Gaikwad as he got run-out. Ravi Bishnoi’s aim was too good which helped Lucknow Super Giants take their first wicket of the game against CSK.
After LSG dismissed Ruturaj Gaikwad, his opening partner Robin Uthappa was hitting the ball like it was nothing. Uthappa’s fiery hitting in the powerplay helped them get this huge total in the first six. Moeen Ali who is playing his first game for CSK in this year’s IPL against LSG on Thursday also had an amazing start to the campaign. Moeen Ali supported Uthappa very well as he also hit some amazing shots in the powerplay to make CSK’s innings stable after the first six overs.
Robin Uthappa also completed his fifty later on but was dismissed by star Indian spinner Ravi Bishnoi just after his half-century in the 8th over of the game.
