Jasprit Bumrah silenced the dugout of the Kolkata Knight Riders by bagging five wickets, especially Andre Russel, who was beaten by the pace of Bumrah. The subdued fans of KKR were edged out by the roar of MI fans in the stadium when the most awaited performance by Bumrah lit the stadium in blue. Jasprit Bumrah achieved his career-best while taking 5/10 against KKR, sending the likes of Nitish Rana, Andre Russel, Sheldon Jackson, Pat Cummins, and Sunil Narine. Bumrah seemed subdued while attempting to come back into the contest but the sheer pace packaged with line and length kept the KKR batting lineup in the split.
The fans, however, didn’t hold back from welcoming Bumrah’s performnce.
