Ravindra Jadeja who was appointed as a skipper of the side, let go of his captaincy to MS Dhoni after being unable to handle the pressure. The statement by CSK suggests that Jadeja has given up his role as a skipper because of the pressure that forced limited his performance with the bat and ball.
“MS Dhoni has accepted to lead CSK in the larger interest and to allow Jadeja to focus on his game,” read the CSK statement.
