Ravindra Jadeja, the captain of Chennai Super Kings and one of the best all-rounders in the world, has set a new record in the Indian Premier League. The 17th match of IPL between Chennai Superkings and Sunrisers Hyderabad is the 150th match of Ravindra Jadeja for Chennai Super Kings.
Before Chennai Super Kings, only Mahendra Singh Dhoni(217) and Suresh Raina(200) have played more than 150 matches and now after these two players, Ravindra Jadeja became the third player to play 150 matches for this franchise.
Ravindra Jadeja started playing for CSK in 2012 and since then he has not looked back . Today after 10 years he is also the captain of the same franchise. Apart from this, Jadeja is third in the list of highest wicket-takers for CSK and has taken 110 wickets in 149 matches. Ravindra Jadeja has performed well in bowling as well as in batting and has scored 1,523 runs for the Chennai team. Ravindra Jadeja was also given the responsibility of captaincy for this IPL season.
