For the first time in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL), all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja will lead the Chennai Super Kings after iconic captain MS Dhoni elected to give up the CSK captaincy to spin-bowling all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja on Thursday, March 24.
MS Dhoni is only seen in cricket action at the IPL after retiring from international cricket in 2020. Dhoni has scored 4,746 runs with a strike rate of 135.83 in 220 IPL games. He presently has the eighth-highest run total in the tournament’s history.
