LSG CEO, Raghu Iyer, and two others suffered a minor rod accident ahead of their game against PBKS on Friday. The reports also suggest that Gautam Gambhir’s manager too was in the car. The three were traveling to attend the match against PBKS from Mumbai to Pune. LSG through its Twitter handle assured that the three are ‘safe and well’.

The official statement released by Lucknow Super Giants, said, “Lucknow Super Giants’ CEO Raghu Iyer, his associate Rachita Berry and Gaurav Arora, Manager for Gautam Gambhir were involved in a minor road accident en route to the venue for tonight’s game. Fortunately, all three are safe and well.”

Lucknow Super Giants have continued their dominant performance in the league and have registered their sixth win of the season by defeating Punjab Super Kings by 20 runs.
