Liam Livingstone broke the record for the second-fastest fifty in IPL 2022, hitting it in only 21 balls against Gujarat Titans on Friday, following Pat Cummins’ 14-ball fifty against Mumbai Indians.
In the first two games of IPL 2022, Livingstone struggled to establish his pace, but in the third game against CSK, he regained his flow and slammed 60 off only 32 balls.
Before being dismissed by Rashid Khan on Friday, he smashed 64 off only 27 balls against Gujarat Titans which included seven fours and four sixes.
