Royal Challengers Bangalore are getting hold of the game after they removed four batters of KKR. KKR lost four early wickets of which three came inside the powerplay. It was a bad start for Shreyas Iyer’s side in their second game of IPL 2022 after they won the first one easily against the defending champions CSK.
RCB came in this match after getting a disappointing defeat against Punjab Kings but did a great job in the second one against KKR at DY Patil stadium. After the first game, fans and experts questioned RCB’s bowling as they couldn’t defend the huge total of 205 against PBKS. But their bowling is amazing against KKR as they take some early wickets in the game and dismissed Ajinkya Rahane, Venkatesh Iyer, Nitish Rana, skipper Shreyas Iyer, and Sunil Narine. Half of the KKR team is already sitting in the dugout as it is only the 9th over. Wanindu Hasaranga’s superb bowling helps RCB remove Shreyas Iyer and Sunil Narine.
It wasn’t the start KKR would have expected. Now they need a partnership to get on to a respective total from here on. Skipper Faf du Plessis is having the best night so far as the things are going RCB’s way. Mohammed Siraj, Akash Deep, and Wanindu Hasaranga, all took wickets against KKR which is a good sign for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
