Ishan Kishan of the Mumbai Indians completes 150 boundaries in the Indian Premier League during Friday’s match against the Gujarat Titans at Brabourne Stadium.
Ishan blasted 45 runs in 29 balls with five boundaries and one six before being dismissed by Alzarri Joseph’s throw, which was grabbed by Rashid Khan.
Kishan is a left-handed hitter who is very well known for his batting performances. His preceding two IPL seasons with Mumbai were equally as impressive as his recent performance for India. Kishan is developing into a top-tier T20 batsman who can add runs to the scoreboard with precision. His strike rate as an opener has given him the recognition he’s gotten this season.
He looked great in the first number of matches of the season, but as the tournament went, he seemed to fall away, posting a streak of poor scores. The Mumbai Indians are enduring their worst season in franchise history and have already been knocked from the tournament.
