Vijay Shankar of the Gujarat Titans has become the subject of controversy and trolling after he failed to deliver during the match against Rajasthan Royals on Thursday, when he was removed for just two runs.
After the removal of Matthew Wade, who was bowled out by Rassie van der Dussen, he stepped out to bat for Gujarat Titans in the next over. Vijay Shankar was removed after only seven balls by Rajasthan Royals teenager Kuldeep Sen.
Following his poor performances, he was left out of the playing XI for the next two games. GT had trust in him again, and he was enlisted in the current game, but he failed to convince once again.
