Rashid Khan, a former Sunrisers Hyderabad leg-spinner, has joined the Gujarat Titans in the IPL’s 2022 edition. Rashid, who played for SRH for nearly half a decade, will face them in their fourth encounter of the season at DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai.
Rashid, who has spent five years with the SRH, has been seen in new colours in the 15th edition of the league, but his performances haven’t changed and he has shown to be a valuable addition to GT, particularly skipper Hardik Pandya, for whom he is the number one wicket-taker.
Rashid said prior of the game that it would be a different experience bowling against SRH, but that he was looking forward to bowling against Kane Williamson, and that it would be a tremendous joy because he remembered some memorable clashes in the nets with the New Zealand skipper.
