Kl Rahul was dismissed by another Indian bowler named Mohammed Shami in the very first ball. It was an amazing start from Gujrat Titans’ bowlers and can say a dream start for the team debuting in the IPL. The two new teams are playing their first game of the IPL and they are looking all set to go. But the first ball from Mohammed Shami gave a major setback to Lucknow Super Giants as the captain KL Rahul departed for a golden duck.
Lucknow Super Giants are playing with Quinton de Kock and Evin Lewis who both are openers but the West Indies’ batter (Evin Lewis) came to bat at no. 3 after KL was departed by Shami in their first ball of the Indian Premier League.
South African opener Quinton de Kock opened the innings with KL Rahul after Gujrat Titans won the toss and invited LSG to bat first. There was a slight nick on KL Rahul’s bat, but the umpire at first denied and gave not out. Hence, Hardik Pandya used the DRS and ‘Ultraedge’ did confirm the touch and skipper KL had to move back to the pavilion.
