Following his massive performance in the first innings of the IPL 2022 match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore, fans are spotting parallels between Shivam Dube and former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh.
Shivam Dube remained unbeaten on 95, smashing five fours and eight sixes on his way to his fourth IPL 50, but got dismissed at the last ball of the 20th over. Notably, Dube and Robin Uthappa’s 165-run partnership was the greatest in IPL 2022. In addition, Dube matched Murali Vijay’s 95 in the IPL 2022 final as the best individual IPL score in CSK-RCB matches.
With 36 runs on the board after being put in to bat first, CSK got off to a slow start, losing a pair of wickets by the seventh over of the powerplay. Uthappa and Dube, on the other hand, grabbed entire control of the batting after that, putting on a third-wicket stand of 165 runs.
