Dewald Brevis of the Mumbai Indians has grabbed his maiden wicket in the Indian Premier League, dismissing former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli for 48 runs with his first ball.
Brevis was bought for Rs 3 crore by the Mumbai Indians, led by Rohit Sharma. The wrist-spinner can swing his arm in the middle innings and is a great bowling all-rounder, so the young hitter is pretty adept with the ball.
The right-hander has indeed been nicknamed ‘Baby AB’ because of his hitting style and stroke-making similarity to that of AB De Villiers, one of the finest batters of the past decade.
