On Thursday, four-time IPL champion Chennai Super Kings face KL Rahul-led newbies Lucknow Super Giants at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai. Both teams have lost their opening games of the league and would look to start their winning campaign in this match.

In the post-match interview, KL Rahul said:  “It couldn’t have started the campaign in any better way.” The reason behind KL Rahul saying so was Super Giant’s Middle-order hitting off in the first match after the top-order collapsed. KL Rahul will look up to use his leading bowler Dushmantha Chameera more effectively in this match, as Chameera didn’t complete his quota of four overs in the last game, despite bowling brilliantly.

In the first game, the huge positive for CSK was MS Dhoni being back in form and delivering in the much-needed situation. Veteran cricketer Dwayne Bravo also picked up three wickets in the first game, which gave immense positivity to the side.

Jason Holder is yet not available for Lucknow Super Giants, and there is no official update about Andrew Tye, which leaves LSG in a state of bothering to complete their best overseas spots.

Pitch Report: The pitch at Brabourne stadium is known for favoring both bowlers and batsmen. With dew coming in the latter half of the match, the teams would look up to bowl first after winning the game. The stadium’s short boundaries and quick outfield make it a high-scoring contest.
