Royal Challengers Bangalore have now won three out of four matches in the league and looks like a top contender to win the mega-league. On Saturday, RCB faced MI at MCA stadium, Pune. Bangalore defeated MI with seven wickets in a comfortable run chase.

The player of the match was Anuj Rawat, who scored his maiden fifty of the league. He scored 66 runs off 47 balls, including six massive sixes. Virat Kohli also was back in form and played an innings of 48 runs in 36 balls. Glenn Maxwell also smashed two boundaries in his first two balls of the league and took the team to the finishing line.

In the first innings, Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma gave Mumbai Indians a promising start. Unfortunately, MI couldn’t capitalize on the great start and lost their wickets one after the other. Mumbai lost their first wicket for 50 runs and then lost five wickets in the following 12 runs. Nonetheless, Suryakumar Yadav played a blazing inning, allowing Mumbai to post a respectable score of 151. Suryakumar Yadav made 68 runs and played at a fantastic strike rate of 183 in this innings to take MI’s score to a respectable total of 152 runs.
