The match is expected to be an exciting contest between two evenly matches teams with great Indian talent in both the lineups, however RCB this season slightly have the edge on paper as they seem to have accumulated a much more balanced team this time around.
The expectation for Virat Kohli’s team is massive every season and this expectation has more often than not ended in disappointment for fans, come the business end of the season. The unfortunate endings and bad luck of every season is something Virat Kohli would be determined to overturn this season.
Hyderabad have been a reasonably successful IPL franchise over the past few seasons, winning the tournament back in 2016 and having finished in the playoffs in every season since then. They have a very good mix of experience along with some great and exciting young Indian talent.
The first South Indian derby of the #Dream11IPL is on the cards as @SunRisers face @RCBTweets at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium today.

Important Stats:
- Rashid Khan’s economy rate in the UAE is an incredible 5.6. Since his debut, only Boyd Rankin has conceded runs at a fewer rate, at 5.5 – given a minimum of 50 overs bowled.
- AB de Villiers is three sixes away from getting to 400 in all T20s.
- Since IPL 2018, Virat Kohli averages only 17.5 against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, and the strike rate of 121 is also not too hot. This is his opportunity to set that record right.
Expected XIs:
Sunrisers Hyderabad: 1 David Warner (capt), 2 Jonny Bairstow (wk), 3 Manish Pandey, 4 Vijay Shankar, 5 Virat Singh, 6 Abdul Samad, 7 Mohammad Nabi, 8 Rashid Khan, 9 Bhuvneshwar Kumar, 10 Khaleel Ahmed, 11 Sandeep Sharma
