With the IPL opener on 19th September between Mumbai Indians and Chennai super kings, Mumbai Indians skipper is wearing it out in the nets. The MI official Instagram account posted a video in which Rohit is seen hitting the ball out of the stadium. The shot smashed by the hitman was able to clear the stadium and hit a moving bus just outside the stadium.
“Batsmen smash sixes, Legends clear the stadium, Hitman smashes a six + clears the stadium + hits a moving bus,” Mumbai Indians captioned the video on Instagram. Rohit Sharma will lead the MI Camp hopeful of retaining the championship. He is one of the most successful captains in the league and has led the side to four IPL wins which is the most by any team.
The IPL schedule was announced on Sunday whereas the playoffs and final will be announced later by the BCCI. The IPL this year is moved to UAE due to the pandemic’s worse effect on India. It will be played across three cities of the emirates; Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
