In the ongoing match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC), Virat Kohli has once again displayed his class with the bat, scoring his 47th half-century in the Indian Premier League (IPL) history. Mustafizur Rahman was the bowler on the receiving end, as Kohli flicked a pitched-up delivery through mid-wicket to reach the milestone.

The RCB veteran has been in sublime touch this season, and his performances are a testament to his consistency and adaptability as a batsman. In the opening game of IPL 2023, Kohli played a brilliant knock of 82 runs against Mumbai Indians, helping RCB secure a win. However, he couldn’t make a mark in the next game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), scoring only 21 runs. But Kohli bounced back in the last match before today’s clash, smashing 61 runs.

And with today’s half-century, he has now scored back-to-back fifties in the tournament.
