With the IPL 2020 all set to begin in less than 20 days, all teams are prepping and training hard. The Kings XI Punjab squad’s been having intense training sessions just like the other franchises. The team, unlike the others, had a rest day on a private beach just for the side.
The weather in the emirates is quite hot and training sessions have been very tiring for the last week. A day off at the beach in such gruelling weather was the best escape for the players. Players splashed in hot water on a private beach to relax before getting back to their intense training regime once again.
The official twitter account of the team shared a video of how the players spent their day off. “Training de ‘beach’ Thoda fun vi jaruri hai,” tweeted Kings XI Punjab. While everybody on the team did what they pleased, Mayank Agarwal rested on the beach chair while the coach Anil Kumble photographed Mohammed Shami.

After the rest day, the players were back to training and trained under the lights on Tuesday. KXIP posted a video of their skipper KL Rahul playing an inside out shot over covers, with pure elegance. The timing on the shot could make anyone envious of KL, who is going to lead Punjab in this year’s IPL.
The team is looking forward to their maiden title under KL Rahul’s guidance. The weather and the conditions will be a major adjustment they will have to make to achieve success.
