In their second consecutive game without captain Shikhar Dhawan, the Punjab Kings have won the toss and elected to field against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. The absence of Dhawan, who potentially could have retained the orange cap as the top scorer of the tournament, will be a big blow to the team’s batting. Sam Curran continues to lead the team in Dhawan’s absence and is hoping to build on the team’s previous success.
Curran expressed confidence in his team’s performance in the previous game and hopes to continue the momentum. He also mentioned that the conditions are not expected to change much.
