Gujarat Titans suffered a setback with the loss of Sai Sudharshan, who was caught by Prabhsimran off Arshdeep Singh’s bowling. Sudharshan had scored 19 runs off 20 balls, including two fours, before departing. Singh, who had been expensive in the powerplay, redeemed himself with a well-placed short ball that caught Sudharshan off-guard.
However, the Titans received a boost with the return of captain Hardik Pandya, who joined in-form batsman Shubman Gill at the crease. Gill, who has been in excellent form this season, is nearing yet another half-century. Pandya’s return will provide much-needed leadership and experience to the chase.
Despite losing Sudharshan, the Titans have a strong batting lineup and will be looking to put up a good score. With Pandya and Gill at the crease, the team will be hoping to build a solid partnership and steer their team to victory.
