Mumbai on the other hand has had a woeful time with their bowling unit. Therefore, they have decided to bring in a new face, in the form of Piyush Chawla. The veteran bowler had a not so decent outing with CSK last year. However, MI’s trouble with Rahul Chahar in the spin department continues, that is why has decided to give Chawla a chance. He is a seasoned contender with 156 wickets in 165 matches. One other change which Mumbai Indians have made is the inclusion of Krunal Pandya, which somewhat lengthens their batting lineup, and gives them an extra bowling option as well. Saurabh Tiwary and Jayant Yadav are the two players to miss out on today’s game.
Mathematically Mumbai Indians are still in contention for a playoff spot. However, they will be required to win this game with a huge margin.
