The game between LSG and SRH was played tonight in Lucknow’s Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, however the fans and experts didn’t seem to enjoy the pitch’s outcome.
According to reports, the Ekana stadium pitch typically favours the batsmen in the first innings, and despite the dew factor, the bowlers benefit in the second innings due to the pitch’s performance after 20 overs.
But tonight’s low-scoring encounter between LSG and SRH was certainly not worth purchasing tickets for, leading fans and cricket experts to label the pitch ‘poor’ –

The spinners played a huge role in the first innings but the flat surface has always outbeaten batters despite their experience in international cricket.
The pitch curators were earlier sacked after a poor production of pitch in the recent IND vs NZ T201 game.
