On the occasion of his 100th IPL game, LSG batter Deepak Hooda had high hopes of making a significant contribution to his team’s victory against the Punjab Kings. However, things didn’t go as planned as Hooda got out cheaply, only managing to score 2 runs off 3 balls. He was dismissed by Sikandar Raza who bowled a flat and straight delivery onto the middle stump, which Hooda failed to connect and was given out lbw.
This dismissal would have certainly been disappointing for Hooda, especially on such a significant milestone game for him. One can only hope that Hooda bounces back in the second innings and makes a significant contribution.
